PETALING JAYA: Water provide to 156 areas in Sepang and Kuala Langat, which was disrupted by a burst pipe, is predicted to be totally restored by late Wednesday (Oct 20).
“The emergency restore work is predicted to be accomplished by 6pm as we speak (Oct 19).
“Following that, the water provide is estimated to be distributed in phases to 145 affected areas within the Sepang area and 11 affected areas within the Kuala Langat area ranging from 6:30pm as we speak.
“The water provide is predicted to completely recuperate at 6pm, Oct 20, 2021,” Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd’s company communication head Elina Baseri mentioned in a press release on Tuesday (Oct 19).
Water provide to the affected areas was disrupted following a burst water pipe close to Simpang 3 LBJ, Jalan B48, Kg. Chinchang, Salak Tinggi, Sepang.
Elina famous that that emergency restore works have been carried out instantly by Air Selangor with 29% of remedial work accomplished as of 6am on Tuesday morning.
“Air Selangor’s onsite employees have been confronted with some challenges because the burst pipe is positioned close to the river.
“As such, the method of strengthening the river banks have to be performed first earlier than the emergency restore work might be applied,” she added.
