BUCHAREST (Reuters) – Two American F-35 fighter jets landed at a Romanian air base on Thursday, Bucharest’s defence ministry mentioned.
The jets, belonging to U.S. Air Forces in Europe will prepare and run missions with the Romanian army in the approaching interval.
On Thursday, NATO ordered its army commanders to accentuate preparations to defend allied territory after Russia invaded Ukraine, placing a whole lot of warplanes and ships on alert and agreeing to extend troop numbers on its japanese flank.
