Apple services including music, iCloud face outages

(Reuters) -Several Apple Inc services including Apple Music, the iCloud storage service, Apple TV and Apple Store have been down for hundreds of customers on Monday.

The firm’s system standing web page confirmed 11 ongoing outages including podcasts, music and arcade. It stated Apple was investigating the problem and services could also be sluggish or unavailable.

According to outage monitoring web site Downdetector.com, greater than 4,000 customers reported points with accessing Apple Music, whereas practically 4,000 reported issues with iCloud.

Users additionally flagged points with “discover my iPhone”, Apple retailer, maps and assist.

Downdetector tracks outages by collating standing reviews from a number of sources including user-submitted errors on its platform. The outage could also be affecting a bigger variety of customers.

Apple didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.

The firm was responding to affected customers on Twitter but it surely was unclear what induced the outages.
