Army retiree allegedly killed by mentally ill son


CYBERJAYA: A 73-year-old military retiree was discovered mendacity useless in a pool of blood in his home in Kampung Jenderam Hulu, Sepang after he was allegedly punched within the face repeatedly and stabbed by his son, who’s believed to be mentally ill.

“The suspect has to take sedatives prescribed by Hospital Banting daily,” ACP Wan Kamarul informed an Operasi Cegah Jenayah press convention on Monday (Dec 6).

He mentioned the sufferer’s physique, which was present in the lounge with extreme facial accidents in addition to wounds on the chest and fingers, has been despatched to Hospital Serdang for autopsy.

He mentioned the suspect, who suffered from seizures and anaemia and has no prison report, is below remand till Tuesday (Dec 7).
