Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has donated 25 tiny homes worth US$250,000 (RM1mil) in whole to homeless veterans.

The former California governor unveiled the Los Angeles homes final week as an early Christmas present.

“Today, I celebrated Christmas early,” Schwarzenegger, 74, tweeted final Thursday (Dec 23). “It was improbable to spend a while with our heroes and welcome them into their new homes.”

He added in a follow-up tweet: “All of you could have the facility to do one thing for another person this vacation season. It would not have to be large. Just give a couple of minutes of your time to assist another person.”

The shelters are every furnished with a mattress and outfitted with warmth, electrical energy and air-conditioning, and can home the veterans till they discover everlasting homes.

Speaking to host Elex Michaelson of reports programme The Issue Is, Schwarzenegger mentioned: “I’ve made and have this nice success due to America.”

The former bodybuilder and actor from Austria, who starred in motion pictures reminiscent of The Terminator (1984) and Total (*25*) (1990), added: “If it is not bodybuilding, if it is not enterprise, if it is not present enterprise, motion pictures and politics – no matter I tackled, I achieved due to America.
