AMSTERDAM (Reuters) – ASML Holding, a key provider to laptop chip makers, mentioned on Friday {that a} fire at one of its factories in Berlin would have restricted impact on its manufacturing this 12 months.
In a press release, ASML mentioned that the Jan. 3 fire wouldn’t have an effect on output or revenues for its DUV lithography programs. It mentioned it was still determining what impact if any it might have on supply of its most superior EUV programs.
“We are still within the course of of finishing therecovery plan for this manufacturing space and determining the best way to decrease any potential impact for our EUV prospects, each in our output plan and in our subject service,” the corporate mentioned.
