Childcare group G8 Education is the latest big Australian company to admit to systematically underpaying its employees.
The company has this morning told the ASX it has underpaid up to 27,000 employees for the past six years and it will cost as much as $80m to repay them.

Joel Fitzgibbon and Phil Thompson (the ‘friends’ bit comes from being bipartisan) have started a parliamentary friends of defence honours and citations group.
