Better road safety awareness needed to avoid another ‘basikal lajak’ tragedy, says Dr Wee

Dr Wee added that because the Transport Minister, he respects the judicial system and wouldn’t intrude with it.

“We have amended the Road Transport Act to enhance penalties for driving drunk and medicines in addition to for ‘mat lajak’ and ‘mat rempit’ actions in 2020.
