Blink to supply EV chargers at GM dealerships in North America


(Reuters) – Electric automobile charging community and gear firm Blink Charging stated on Tuesday it might supply EV chargers at General Motors (GM) dealerships in the United States and Canada.

Blink stated it might collaborate with facility options supplier ABM Industries to supply its IQ 200 Level 2 chargers to dealerships throughout North America.

The firm added that it had already shipped chargers to some GM dealerships in the U.S. and has orders in hand to supply extra in the approaching months.

Level 2 charging can typically present a automobile with about 18-28 miles of vary per hour and is extensively discovered in locations of employment and business institutions.

GM, which presently makes the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV, will ship an electrical model of the Silverado pickup truck beginning fall of 2023.
