Carlyle agrees to purchase Swiss industrial software program agency AutoForm

LONDON (Reuters) – U.S. buyout fund Carlyle stated on Wednesday it had agreed to amass Swiss industrial software program agency AutoForm AG from non-public fairness agency Astorg for an undisclosed quantity.

AutoForm, based in 1995, offers engineering software program for sheet metallic forming simulation, primarily used within the automotive business.

Carlyle was suggested by Rothschild and regulation companies Linklaters, Lenz & Staehelin and Latham & Watkins, whereas Astorg was represented by Evercore, Jefferies and regulation agency Paul Hastings.
