PETALING JAYA: The Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) is investigating allegations that two people had received less than their required AstraZeneca doses.
The CITF said it received information that there were allegations of two cases receiving less than their required dose by 0.5ml.
These two alleged cases, it said, involved the World Trade Centre KL vaccination centre on May 19.
“CITF is investigating these allegations and both of the vaccine recipients involved have also been identified.
“CITF would also like to stress that we always prioritise the service quality of all medical specialists involved in the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme including the private medical specialists who are managed by ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd,” it said in a statement on Thursday (May 20).
It noted that they would not hesitate to take any action against those who violate any regulations.
