MELAKA: Claims of Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali (pic) being forced to sign his resignation letter as Melaka Chief Minister are not true and baseless, stated Melaka Umno deputy liaison chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Ali Mohamad.

He stated Sulaiman, who’s Lendu assemblyman, will proceed to maintain the put up of Melaka Chief Minister till the tip of his time period as had been agreed.

“The prime Umno management and 5 Umno division heads in Melaka, specifically Kota Melaka, Tangga Batu, Hang Tuah Jaya, Jasin and Alor Gajah have agreed for Sulaiman to be the Chief Minister.

“We hope Sulaiman will proceed to maintain the put up till the tip of his tenure, which is for 5 years,” he informed reporters right here.
