Colwyn Bay fire: Lucky escape as passer-by spots attic flames


Firefighters have spent the evening tackling a big fireplace at a home in Colwyn Bay.

Crews have been known as to the Woodland Park West space of the city simply earlier than 21:00 GMT on Monday.

Five fireplace engines, an aerial ladder and an incident command unit have been used to sort out the blaze.

A North Wales Fire and Rescue spokeswoman mentioned the one who lived there was alerted to the fireplace by a passer-by who noticed flames within the attic area.
