Cops investigating viral video of man brandishing handcuffs from car

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have opened investigations right into a viral video of police personnel brandishing handcuffs from the motive force’s aspect window of an unmarked police car.

“Once our inquiry into the incident is completed, we will refer it to the Deputy Public Prosecutor’s office for further instruction,” he stated when contacted on Wednesday (Feb 16).

He stated the video of the incident was uploaded on Feb 13 by Facebook person ViralMeletop.

“The video shows an alleged misunderstanding involving two motorists,” he stated, including that Dang Wangi CID is tracing the people concerned.

He urged the general public to not speculate on the case and permit police to research the matter transparently and completely.
