Covid-19: 115 compound notices issued over SOP breach in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah saw a total of 115 compound notices issued for various SOP violations statewide on Thursday (June 3).

This includes 42 people who did not put on their face masks, 19 who failed to practise physical distancing, eight for going out without a valid reason and six cases of vehicles exceeding passenger limit among others.

Minister in charge of Covid-19 matters in Sabah, Datuk Masidi Manjun (pic) said the state also saw a total of 203 new cases, seven deaths and a new cluster recorded.

A total of six localities in Penampang, Tawau and Kudat will be placed under the enhanced MCO from June 5 to June 18.
