Covid-19: Over 86% of adolescents in Malaysia fully vaccinated

KUALA LUMPUR: A complete of 2,719,106 people or 86.4% of adolescents aged between 12 and 17 in the nation have accomplished their Covid-19 vaccination as of Friday (Dec 3).

Based on the Health Ministry’s CovidNow portal, 2,828,401 people or 89.9% of the adolescent inhabitants have obtained a minimum of one dose of the vaccine.

As for the grownup inhabitants, 22,714,044 people or 97% have accomplished the vaccination, whereas 23,044,061 people or 98.4% have obtained a minimum of one dose of the vaccine.

A complete of 125,927 doses of the vaccine had been administered Friday, involving 4,417 as first doses, 6,721 as second doses and 114,789 doses as booster doses.

A complete of 53,960,016 doses of vaccines have now been administered below the National Covid-19 Immunisation programme. – Bernama
