Covid-19: Sabah’s daily cases cross 200 mark


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is seeing a rise in daily Covid-19 cases, recording 208 new infections on Sunday (July 10).

State Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun stated Kota Kinabalu district noticed a rise from 71 cases on Saturday (July 9) to 104 on Sunday.

He stated nearly 85% of latest cases within the district had been sporadic infections.

Five districts registering new cases within the double digits on Sunday had been Penampang (30), Sandakan (23), Lahad Datu (12), Papar (11) and Tuaran (10), he added in his daily Covid-19 briefing.

However, he stated of the 208 new cases, 206 had been beneath Categories 1 and a couple of for no signs to delicate signs whereas two cases had been in Category 4.
