PETALING JAYA:A total of 514,674 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were given on Thursday (Aug 5) across the country, says Dr Adham Baba (pic).
The Health Minister tweeted that 220,839 individuals received their first dose, while 293,835 were given their second dose, citing data from the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) on Friday (Aug 6).
Among the states and federal territories, Sabah recorded the highest number of daily first dose at 34,166, followed by Johor (30,685), Selangor (28,875), and Perak (20,966).
For the second dose, Selangor led the country with 81,159 shots, Kuala Lumpur with 47,389 shots and Sarawak (23,089).
This brings the total cumulative doses of vaccines administered in Malaysia so far to 23,161,255 doses.
Of that number, 15,162,424 were the first dose, with the remaining 7,998,831 were the second.
