IPOH: Visitors to Pasir Pinji assemblyman Howard Lee’s service centre at Jalan Prince here since May 26 have been advised to get in touch with them.
Lee said his assistant has tested positive for Covid-19 and those who came to his service centre for assistance between May 26 and June 2 are advised to get tested.
He said his service centre is offering free RTK Antigen tests on Saturday (June 5) and Sunday (June 6) from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
“Those who are showing symptoms and visited us on those dates should register for the test,” he said during a Facebook Live announcement on Friday (June 4).
“Those who have scanned their MySejahtera at our centre, please call or message us at 016-450 9602 or private message us at fb.com/howardlee.my.
“We are also calling up those who wrote their names in our visitors’ logbook,” he said, adding that time slots will be assigned to prevent crowding.
Lee said the targeted mass testing activity has been approved by the state National Security Council.
“We have also informed the Pasir Puteh police and received approval.
“We are already setting up a tent in front of our service centre,” he said, adding that volunteers and those coming for the tests would need to observe strict standard operating procedures.
“Test results will be out within 24 hours and the state Health Department will also be notified,” he added.
Lee said he and his service centre staff were now under home quarantine.
“We have closed the service centre temporarily and it is being sanitised,” he said, adding that his assistant is currently warded at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital.
