Covid-19 Watch: 19,090 new infections, 0.59% in categories three, four and five, says Health DG


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia reported 19,090 new Covid-19 infections on Thursday (Feb 10), says the Health Ministry.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah mentioned this brings the cumulative variety of Covid-19 infections in the nation to 2,975,422 circumstances because the pandemic started.

In a tweet on Thursday, Dr Noor Hisham mentioned that 113, or 0.59%, of the new day by day circumstances had been in categories three four and 5 and required hospitalisation.

He added that the remaining 18,977 circumstances, or 99.41%, had been in categories one and two, which means they had been asymptomatic or solely had delicate signs.

He added {that a} extra detailed breakdown of the day by day case numbers could be uploaded to the Health Ministry’s CovidNow web site at midnight.
