(Reuters) – Cricket Australia stated on Tuesday batter Beth Mooney will miss the Women’s Ashes sequence towards England after fracturing her jaw in coaching.

Mooney, the world’s high ranked Twenty20 batter, will endure surgical procedure later within the day after being hit in coaching on Monday, with her return date to be confirmed after the operation.
