(Reuters) – England head coach Chris Silverwood has stepped down following the crew’s meek give up within the Ashes sequence towards Australia, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) stated on Thursday.
Silverwood had come underneath stress after England misplaced the five-test Ashes sequence 4-0, with former skipper Mike Atherton calling for an entire overhaul of the England administration.
