LONDON, July 10 (Xinhua) — Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic defeated top-seeded Zhang Shuai of China and Elise Mertens of Belgium in straight units on Sunday to win their second women’s doubles title at the Wimbledon Championships.
Krejcikova/Siniakova broke their opponents twice to take the primary set 6-2, earlier than wrapping up the second 6-4.
It is their fifth Grand Slam title as a pair. In 2018, Krejcikova and Siniakova lifted their maiden Wimbledon doubles title.
