COPENHAGEN (Reuters) – A Danish frigate has killed 4 pirates in waters south of Nigeria in an operation aimed toward guaranteeing secure delivery within the Gulf of Guinea, the Danish navy stated on Thursday.

The frigate Esbern Snare, deployed final month to the Gulf of Guinea amid heightened safety dangers from pirates, on Wednesday noticed a vessel it suspected of carrying eight pirates close to a number of business ships, Danish Defence stated.
