COPENHAGEN (Reuters) – Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen reshuffled her cabinet on Friday after the transport minister resigned over revelations he did not disclose data to parliament a few main infrastructure invoice handed in July.
Transport Minister Benny Engelbrecht stepped down on Thursday after the Red-Green Alliance, which backs the minority Social Democratic authorities, threatened a vote of no confidence towards him in parliament over allegations he misled lawmakers.
Engelbrecht didn’t present estimates to parliament for projected CO2 emissions when a serious infrastructure invoice was handed in July, a call he defined later by saying the estimates had been too unsure to incorporate within the bundle.
Current Defence Minister Trine Bramsen, will take over as transport minister, Frederiksen’s workplace stated in an announcement.
Tax Minister Morten Boedskov, an ex-justice minister, will shift into the defence portfolio whereas a Social Democratic lawmaker, Jeppe Bruus, will turn out to be tax minister.
