Destini bags two Mindef contracts worth RM89mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Destini Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Destini Prima Sdn Bhd, has secured two contracts from the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) worth a complete of RM89 million to supply upkeep companies and provide gear to the army.

“The award of the two contracts will strengthen Destini’s place within the defence aviation business as the corporate’s capabilities are repeatedly recognised by the ministry and its associates.

“Moving ahead, Destini is optimistic will probably be capable of develop sustainably this yr onwards,” the group stated in a press release as we speak.

The first contract is an extension of an present contract, which is to supply upkeep, restore and overhaul (MRO) companies and provide security and survival associated gear for the Royal Malaysian Air Force.

The contract would expire in October 2022 and has a ceiling worth of roughly RM88.0 million, the group stated.

Meanwhile, the second contract can be to supply MRO companies and provide security and

survival associated gear for the Malaysian Army Aviation for the following three years with a contract worth of RM0.99 million, it added. – Bernama
