PETALING JAYA: Kidney patients in Yong Peng, Johor, acquired some early Chinese New Year cheer when Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong paid them a go to.
The MCA president additionally gave the patients on the NSCMH Dialysis Care centre in Yong Peng some festive presents to mark the event.
“For every major celebration like Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Deepavali, I would visit patients undergoing haemodialysis and those who are in need,” mentioned Dr Wee in a Facebook put up Saturday (Jan 22).
He mentioned his service centre has been working along with the Lions Club of Yong Peng to organise such charitable occasions since 2005.
“I hope our presence has managed to bring them some cheer in conjunction with this festival,” mentioned Dr Wee, who can also be Transport Minister.
