Since she was a baby, housewife Joanne Lee, 35, has been taught by her dad and mom to save the ang pow money she acquired from her kin on the day of Li Chun.

“My parents would always remind me to save my money and now, I have passed on this tradition to my children,” she stated.

Lee stated though it was solely a cultural follow, it was good to comply with it as a result of saving money is at all times helpful.

“These days, the tradition has evolved into the modern practice of depositing money online or wire transfer,” she stated.

Another distinctive custom that’s practised by the Chinese neighborhood on at the present time is the egg balancing act.
