KLUANG: Eight houses have been razed after a fire broke out at Jalan Hj Siraj in Renggam right here.
Kluang Fire and Rescue division station chief Mohd Fauzi Md Nor stated they obtained a name concerning the incident at 9.21pm on Wednesday (Jan 5).
“A complete of 25 firemen in three fire engines have been deployed to the scene.
“A shophouse and 9 double-storey houses have been on fire. The (shophouse) was being rented out for residential use.
“Eight houses have been utterly destroyed in the fire whereas the firemen managed to avoid wasting one,” he stated in an announcement on Thursday (Jan 6).
He famous that no deaths or accidents have been reported.
The reason for the fire was nonetheless being investigated whereas the whole losses have been being tallied, he added.
