Fans spot these big mistakes in ‘Harry Potter’ reunion special

HBO has mounted and re-uploaded its Harry Potter twentieth Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special after eagle-eyed followers and forged members alerted the streaming large of a pair modifying mistakes over the vacation weekend.

Within hours of the reunion special’s launch on New Year’s Day, social media customers seen that a picture of actor Emma Roberts appeared onscreen throughout a section narrated by Emma Watson, who performed Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies.

After some newbie sleuths confirmed HBO had the fallacious Emma by cross-checking the picture of a little bit lady in Minnie Mouse ears with a throwback put up on Roberts’ private Instagram feed, the producers of Return To Hogwarts publicly acknowledged the goof.

“Well spotted Harry Potter fans!” they mentioned in a press release. “You brought an editing mistake of a mislabeled photograph to our attention. New version is up now.”

The second error was gently reported by none aside from Oliver Phelps, who performed one half of the mischievous Weasley twins in the Harry Potter motion pictures.

According to Phelps, the unique model of the reunion special mislabelled the actor as his similar twin brother, James Phelps, and vice versa once they appeared onscreen. James and Oliver Phelps performed Fred and George Weasley, respectively, in the movie franchise.

“I guess after all those pranks over the years somebody decided to get their revenge,” Oliver Phelps joked on Instagram. “It was fantastic to be part of the HP reunion. Hope you all enjoyed it.”

Though HBO hasn’t remarked publicly on the Phelps flub, Tom Felton – who performed Slytherin bully Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter flicks – jokingly took credit score for the mix-up in the remark part of Oliver Phelps’ Instagram put up.

“It was my doing,” Felton posted, together with a snake and lion emoji symbolising the longstanding rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor, respective Hogwarts homes of the Malfoy and Weasley households.

“This is legit hilarious,” added Matthew Lewis, who portrayed key Gryffindor participant Neville Longbottom. “Dude. Wtf? Haha.”
