Fire kills two in high-rise building in Mumbai, 15 injured


MUMBAI (Reuters) – At least two folks had been killed and over 15 injured when a big hearth broke out in a multi-storey residential building in India’s monetary capital Mumbai on Saturday, authorities stated.

Dozens of fireplace combating vans rushed to douse the flames and rescue tons of of residents from the 20-storey building in the centre of Mumbai metropolis.

(*15*) from the scene confirmed an enormous plume of smoke filling the sky, with flames popping out from the 18th flooring of the building.

“Fire has been doused and other people have been rescued,” Kishori Pednekar, the town’s mayor, informed Reuters, including that the reason for the fireplace was not recognized but.
