KOTA KINABALU: A lady, believed to be mentally handicapped, was rescued from the window ledge situated on the primary ground of a shoplot in Sandakan at round 4pm on Friday (Nov 19).
Passers-by noticed the girl, in her 20s, outdoors the window of the Sim Sing Hup constructing in Batu 8, Sandakan and alerted firemen.
Sabah Fireplace and Rescue Division operations assistant director Misran Bisara mentioned a ladder was used to convey the girl right down to security.
“She was handed again to her household after that,” he mentioned in an announcement.
