In April 2019, the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) concluded that Koh and social activist Amri Che Mat have been victims of enforced disappearance by the state, specifically the Special Branch of the Police.
The authorities then shaped a particular job drive to set up the two males’s whereabouts.
