Floods: PM thanks UAE govt over donation to Armed Forces personnel affected by deluge


KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has recorded his appreciation to the federal government of United Arab Emirates (UAE) for extending contributions to greater than 700 Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) personnel households affected by the floods.

In his official Facebook put up, he stated the affected Armed Forces personnel obtained fundamental requirements and meals support introduced by UAE Ambassador to Malaysia, Khalid Ghanim Mohammad Al-Ghaith, to MAF represented by Defence Forces chief Jen Tan Sri Affendi Buang.

“I want to categorical our thanks to the federal government of United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the type gesture as Malaysia and UAE have a cordial relationship. Even although the 2 international locations are far aside, such goodwill is very appreciated,” he stated.

Ismail Sabri stated the donations can be distributed from this weekend to affected MAF households particularly in Selangor and Pahang.
