PETALING JAYA: Tan Cheng Hoe (pic) has resigned as the national coach of Malaysia’s football crew.

The Football Association of Malaysia confirmed the information on Monday (Jan 3) after holding discussions with the 52-year-old.

Cheng Hoe determined to stop after Malaysia didn’t qualify for the knockout levels of the AFF Suzuki Cup.

The former Kedah coach took over the crew in 2017 from Nelo Vingada.

His most profitable outing was when Malaysia completed as runners-up within the 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup.
