The former defender coached in Hungary for four years before taking over as the national team manager in 2018.
He was under coronavirus quarantine for their Euro 2020 playoff against Iceland and passed instructions to his assistant, Cosimo Ignuscio, from home as Hungary sealed a thrilling 2-1 comeback win to qualify.
Captain: Adam Szalai
The 33-year-old centre forward has scored 23 goals in 70 games for Hungary. Euro 2020 will be his first major tournament as captain.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is Hungary’s primary creative source, possessing an abundance of flair in addition to his lethal dead-ball ability.
His late strike from distance in the Euro 2020 playoff against Iceland secured Hungary’s place in the finals.
Hungary participated in two of the first four editions of the European Championship, finishing third in 1964 and fourth in 1972.
Following a 44-year absence, they qualified for their third tournament in 2016, where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Belgium.
