BERLIN (Reuters) – German prosecutors searched the offices of German soccer affiliation DFB as half of an investigation into suspected breach of belief by a former DFB official, the Frankfurt prosecutor’s workplace mentioned in a press release on Thursday.
They additionally searched the house of the previous official and the offices of 5 firms. The workplace didn’t title the previous official or the businesses.
The official is suspected of having signed a deal price 360,000 euros ($398,808) with a communications company that didn’t present any providers in return, the prosecutor’s workplace mentioned.
DFB was not instantly obtainable for remark.
