PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur dominated from the start to finish to pull off a 2-0 win against Pahang in their Super League match at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan on Friday (Aug 20).

The City Boys could have scored with a bigger margin as they had seven chances in the first half but failed to convert them.

Their relentless effort bore fruit in the second-half when Colombian midfielder Romel Morales finally hit the net when he scored in the 49th minute with a vicious shot to beat Pahang’s goalkeeper Danial Wafiuddin.

Another midfielder Zhafri Yahya completed the win by scoring the second goal in the 70th minute.

Kuala Lumpur remained sixth in the league with 27 points, while Pahang stayed in the ninth spot with 17 points.
