PARIS (Reuters) – France’s anti-trust watchdog physique stated on Thursday that it had authorized commitments made by Facebook owner Meta Platforms concerning the French online advertising sector.

It added Meta had dedicated to giving entry over a five-year interval to advertising inventories and marketing campaign information to adtech corporations on ‘clear, goal and predictable’ situations.

In May, Germany’s cartel workplace had stated Meta Platforms Inc had “paramount significance for competitors throughout markets”, marking a classification which gave Germany extra leeway to curb digital corporations’ market energy.
