Greek comedian gets suspended sentence for online sex videos

THESSALONIKI, Greece: A Greek TV comedian was given a suspended jail sentence on Feb 9 after being convicted of posting on the Internet sex videos of his former associate with out her consent, a case that prompted a public debate on online privateness abuses.

A court docket within the northern metropolis of Thessaloniki sentenced the 58-year-old defendant to 5 years in jail – suspended for three years – for breaches of Greek privateness legal guidelines and fined him €10,000 (RM47,813).
