WARSAW (Reuters) – A gaggle of round 200 migrants tried to interrupt by the fence on the Polish-Belarus border on Wednesday night, the Border Guard stated on Thursday, as tensions simmer in a disaster regional powers have warned might spill right into a wider battle.

The incident close to the village of Czeremcha was one of many every day confrontations between teams of migrants below the supervision of Belarusian troopers and Polish forces, which the European Union says is a part of a “hybrid warfare” Minsk designed to destabilise the bloc and hit again towards sanctions.[L1N2SF1M7]

“They had been making an attempt to interrupt by the border, attacking the border,” Border Guard spokeswoman Anna Michalska advised Reuters. “They had been throwing branches and stones and the try was stopped by our officers.”

Michalska stated the migrants had flattened a bit of the fence with logs of their bid to get throughout. She stated 5 migrants had been despatched to hospital affected by exhaustion.
