KUALA LUMPUR: The Health Ministry (MoH) has prolonged Pharmaniaga Bhd
’s services to supply medicines and medical suppliers to the ministry for another year from Jan 1, 2022 to Dec 31, 2022.
MoH issued a letter dated Dec 28 to Pharmaniaga’s wholly-owned subsidiary Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn Bhd (PLSB) giving the extension, pending finalising new logistics and distribution concessions.
Pharmaniaga stated in a press release that the scope of services to be supplied by PLSB are just like the phrases stipulated within the concession settlement dated March 16, 2011.
“With the extension, Pharmaniaga assures the logistics and distribution of medical provides will proceed as ordinary with none interruption,” Pharmaniaga stated.
On Nov 18, 2019, PLSB acquired a letter from MoH extending its services to supply medicines and medical provides to MoH services from Dec 1, 2019 to Dec 31, 2021. PLSB was additionally allowed to proceed to supply logistics and distribution services to MoH for 5 years ending Dec 31, 2024, the assertion stated. – Bernama
