KUALA LUMPUR: The Home Ministry’s main thrust of strengthening the nation’s border control set underneath the Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian Family Aspirations) has been efficiently carried out, says Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.
The Home Minister stated the thrust, which outlined the three initiatives set by the ministry, was achieved by way of the cooperation of its businesses.
“Among different issues, it was achieved with the nation’s border control being strengthened when the Royal Malaysia Police’s General Operations Force formally took over the features of the Malaysian Border Control Agency on the nation’s border on Oct 1.
“Meanwhile, on Nov 11, the federal government agreed to nominate former Public Services Department director-general Tan Sri Borhan Dolah because the Single Border Agency Nucleus Team chief, which can element the institution of a single company to protect the nation’s gateways extra effectively and successfully,” he stated in an announcement on his official Facebook web page Thursday (Dec 9).
