KUALA LUMPUR: HSS Engineers Bhd’s unit HSS Integrated Sdn Bhd has been awarded a RM16.6mil variation order (VO) to offer supervising works for Section 9 of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) from Serendah to Port Klang.
In an announcement, the engineering marketing consultant mentioned the 53.5km part consists of tunnels, viaducts, at-grade sections and stations.
The VO pertains to the letter of appointment HSS Engineers acquired from China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd in December 2017 to offer supervising consultancy providers for infrastructure works from Ch 0+000 to Ch 231+500 for a complete contract sum of RM82.5mil.
According to HSS Engineering government director Sharifah Azlina Raja Kamal Pasmah, general development works for the ECRL had been properly underway with reported progress of 28.57% as at April 2022.
“We are heartened by the chance to reprise and even develop our function to hold on the mission’s momentum, particularly within the essential linkage within the Klang Valley,” she mentioned.
The mission works are focused for completion by the fourth quarter of the monetary 12 months ended Dec 31, 2027.
With the newest contract win, the group mentioned its unbilled orderbook stands at RM530mil year-to-date, which is able to present earnings visibility till 2027.
