Indian actress Lakshmi Vasudevan bursts into tears after scammers sent obscene photos to her contacts

Indian actress Lakshmi Vasudevan stated she is a sufferer of a web-based phishing message. The actress took to Instagram to share her horrifying expertise.

In the video posted on Sept 23, Lakshmi burst into tears revealing how her cell phone was hacked after clicking on a phishing hyperlink, which ultimately led to her receiving risk calls and messages. The scammers even went so far as to ship faux, morphed obscene photos of the actress to her contacts.

She stated: “On September eleventh, I acquired a message saying that I’ve gained 5 lakh rupees (RM28,000) of money prize. As quickly as I clicked on the hyperlink, the app was downloaded.

“The subsequent minute, my telephone obtained hacked however I didn’t realise it till three to 4 days later once I acquired messages saying that I had taken a mortgage of 5 thousand rupees.”

The actress stated that she continued receiving vulgar voice messages threatening to share morphed photos of her if she did not pay up.

“Meanwhile, I got here to know that the morphed photos of me had been sent to my contacts together with to all my kinfolk, associates and fogeys,” stated the 40-year-old, including that she has lodged a report to the authorities.

The Chennai-born actress urged her followers to be vigilant and conscious of such scams.

Lakshmi rose to stardom starring in TV collection corresponding to Saravanan Meenatchi and Annakodiyum Aindhu Pengalum in addition to Tamil movies particularly 555, Thrittukalyanam and Arinindam Ariyamalum.
