KUALA LUMPUR: Iran is dedicated to increasing bilateral relations with Malaysia in varied fields, significantly in tourism, says it embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
In an announcement forward of Iran’s National Day on Feb 11, which marks the forty third Anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, the embassy stated senior officers of each nations had been wanting into alternatives to strengthen tourism between Malaysia and Iran.
“For about two decades, Malaysia has been a destination for Iranian tourists who want to enjoy a nice country and friendly people.
“Iranians who visited Malaysia acknowledge this country as a safe and developed country. Commonalities between Iran and Malaysia are important and positive elements for promoting and expanding tourism,” it stated.
The Iranian authorities, it added, had made concerted efforts to appeal to vacationers to the assorted locations within the nation, with arrivals having elevated lately.
It stated Iran had a various tourism trade, with actions starting from mountain climbing and snowboarding to seaside holidays by the Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea. — Bernama
