PUTRAJAYA: A Royal Commission of Inquiry will be set up to investigate issues related to Lembaga Tabung Haji that arose from audits carried out in the board.

Announcing this, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the matter was agreed upon at the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday (July 14).

He said this would involve audits carried out by consultants such as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst & Young (EY) and Roland Berger between 2014 and 2020.
