MILAN (Reuters) – Italian truck, bus and engine maker Iveco group stated on Monday it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Hyundai Motor Company on March 4 to explore doable collaborations on shared automobile expertise, joint sourcing and mutual provide.
The MoU is a preliminary step in assessing potential cooperations in expertise and platforms, encompassing parts and techniques, the group added in a press release.
The areas of doable mutual curiosity are electrical powertrains and platforms corresponding to fuel-cell techniques, automobile automation and connectivity for industrial automobiles.
