It’s time once more for the weekly fuel price replace, with the ministry of finance having introduced the retail costs of fuel for the approaching week of January 20 to 26.
There’s no price revision for RON 97 petrol this week, and so the fuel continues on on the RM3.07 per litre it was at last week. No motion as per traditional for RON 95 petrol, which continues at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre that was set by the federal government final February.
Similarly, the price of diesel can also be unchanged, with Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends remaining fastened at RM2.15 per litre, whereas Euro 5 B7 – which noticed a 10 sen price increase at first of the 12 months and now prices 20 sen extra per litre – is priced at RM2.35 per litre.
These costs will take impact from midnight tonight till Wednesday, January 26, when the subsequent set of fuel price updates might be introduced. This is the fourth version of the weekly fuel pricing format for 2022, and the 158th because the system was launched in 2019.
