Yoodo has announced that those eligible for the Jaringan Prihatin initiative can purchase a Prihatin Pass priced at RM5, which comes with 20GB of monthly high-speed data along with an additional free 2GB daily, giving users a total of up to 80GB a month.
According to the digital telco, the additional 2GB daily data is valid for 60 minutes a day and users can only redeem it once every 24 hours, while the Prihatin Pass can only be purchased once in a calendar month.
Its FAQ states that users can utilise both the daily and monthly data allocation for hotspot purposes, and that the additional 2GB daily data can be used for any website and/or app.
Yoodo also explained that data usage will be deducted from whichever allocation is set to expire first.
The company in a statement said the Prihatin Pass is being offered to help more people stay connected during the extended movement control order (MCO). Users are encouraged to check for eligibility and register for the pass through the Yoodo app.
The telco added that the daily 2GB data can also be redeemed through the app under Power Pass. Eligible users can access the offering for 12 months until July 31, 2022.
Previously priced at RM35, the monthly 20GB pass from Yoodo can also be purchased by other users at RM20.
